Remember when you were 6 or 7 and had the best time dressing up your paper dolls or colorforms for date night, holiday parties, afternoon tea and weekend shopping?

I’ve always thought paper dolls were more than just a pasttime: they provide a safe place for little girls to experiment with sexuality (do short skirts and high heels send the wrong message?), revolt against social orthodoxy (she CAN wear her leather jacket to baby sister’s baptism), and of course, find a way to channel and develop their self-expression and personal style.

But just because you’ve already graduated from your formative years doesn’t mean paper dolls are out the window. Check out this fun web game, PaperDolls50, a totally simple interface that lets girls of any age drag, drop and create retro oufits and hairdos for the sassy model.

You can play with a prom dress, jean shorts, pencil skirts and tons of heels, and even get inspiration for your real-life, grown-up outfits.

You just made my night AND provided me with a fun activity to do during the workday while my laptop is turned so no one can see my screen.
    YESSSSSSS
