Since I’ve been re-amazed by the intricate designs (and buttons, clips and zippers) of fancy lingerie lately, I’ve also got to tackle a question that’s always bothered me.
Who walks around in garter belts, thigh highs, corsets, and expensive underwear sets all day?
Unless you’re in a sexy movie scene or into some shady business, there’s just no need, is there? One possible reason it’s hard for me to wrap my brain around layering lots of underwear and lingerie accessories under my clothes is because it’s just too hot in Houston most of the time. Even putting a slip or extra camisole under dresses and blouses is a death wish if you want to survive the sticky summer heat.
But do girls in cooler climates still feel comfortable in endless layers of lace and satin that can tug and pull and add extra bulk to slinky outfits? Please, do tell! How much underwear do you wear?

I do wear nice bras/knickers almost everyday (although I have some basic cotton panties for the gym or for when I’m just in a laid-back mood), and slips pretty regularly (a couple times a week, give or take). In the winter I love slipping on a waist cincher or something under my outfit. I wear garter belts on a pretty regular basis too – they are wayyyy better than pantyhose!
But I recognize and admit that my lingerie habits are a bit more high-maintenance than most women
