The only way I can imagine that Vogue justifies naming Blake Lively — and even Anne Hathaway, to a degree — to its Ten Best Dressed list: Golden Globes edition is to celebrate its cover girls. There was a lot of uproar over Blake’s landing the current cover anyway, because she doesn’t actually dress that well, and she’s not traditional Vogue material. And while Anne Hathaway – January’s cover girl — usually looks stunning, her Golden Globes dress wasn’t particularly fashion forward or even that flattering.
Amy Adams was also included in the Golden Globes list and is a favorite feature on Style.com. Is Vogue getting us used to the idea of Amy on the cover next month? She was nominated for a Golden Globe (possibly even an Oscar), and Night at the Museum 2 is coming out in May.
Then again, Renee Zellweger also managed to make Carolina Herrera look God awful, and she has a new movie coming out, too…which one do you think will be our March girl?
