CovertCandy.
CovertCandy is an online clothing swap that supports sustainable clothing and awards users credits that they can apply to other merchandise (clothes, shoes, bags, jewelry) so that they don’t have to pay for new stuff.
And so it’s more “new-t0-you” than just plain “new,” but the basic idea is that you’re getting clothes for the very tiny price of getting rid of things you don’t want anyway.
Right now, the women’s section has tops from Topshop and H&M, dresses from Next, Wallis and Karen Millen, and okay, before you get too excited, CovertCandy is at the moment only for UK users, but U.S. residents are being put on a sort of waiting list. When the site has enough U.S. names and e-mail addresses, they’ll launch a site for us, too. So submit your info, now, for all of us!
