Ahhhhh, Harper’s Bazaar redeems itself. The UK one anyway.
It’s named Stella McCartney the best dressed woman of 2009, thanks to a panel of judges including Roland Mouret, Christopher Kane, Christian Louboutin, a Guardian columnist and HB editor Lucy Yeomans, the Telegraph reports.
What’s interesting about this award is that in addition to honoring Stella’s own personal style, she’s credited with helping other women look their best, a thoughtful spin on the “best dressed” title. And considering that some of those women include influential style setters themselves (Gwyneth, Kate Hudson), there just really wasn’t any other choice.
