It’s Friday, you’re in the mood to unwind and shop, but for just a minute we’ll have to address something sad. Twenty-year-old South Korean model Daul Kim was found dead in her Paris apartment on Thursday after committing suicide, French police determined.
The Times Online, which pulled from her blog several instances of depression and loneliness and remarks about suicide or giving up, also pointed out that Kim is the 9th South Korean celebrity to commit suicide this year. Kim, who was signed with Next and debuted on the runway just two years ago, has appeared on the covers of Korean Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar and walked for designers like Karl Lagerfeld and Vivienne Westwood.
