Woohoo! Kate Moss won the London 25 award at the British Fashion Awards last night (also sponsored by Grazia), which isn’t really a surprise, but fitting.
And the best coverage of the event can probably be summed up in this video from The Times: Kate and Vivienne Westwood slur and stammer their way through a post-event press conference, answering questions about how they embody London fashion (“We happen to be British and I happen to do fashion,” says Viv; “I never want to live anywhere else,” crackles Kate) and also about what’s next for them: possibly a chat show about saving the environment?
I don’t think I’ve ever seen this much speaking Kate, and while she’s not at her most prolific, you still get it.
